A pudding that makes its own sauce? Sounds like a keeper!

First things first:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Grease an oven proof dish.

For the batter, you'll need:

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Half a cup sugar

1 egg

Half a cup of milk

60g butter melted

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

100g chopped fudge

Here's how:

Measure the dry ingredients into a bowl.  Make a well for the wet ingredients.

In a jug, beat the egg adding the milk, vanilla and melted butter.

Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients and mix well.

Sprinkle chopped fudge into greased dish.  Pour batter over the fudge and spread evenly.

For the sauce, you'll need:

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 cup light brown sugar

One and half cups boiling water

Here's how:

Mix cocoa and sugar and sprinkle evenly over pudding batter.

Pour over boiling water gently over all ingredients in dish.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until pudding is baked and a delicious chocolaty sauce is bubbling around the pudding.

Serve hot with cream or ice cream and perhaps extra Tasha’s Fantastic fudge sauce.

Serves 6 and can be easily doubled for a bigger party!
