RED serves up a zesty new breakfast offering for runners and pooches in Cape Town.

Looking for a way to add some zest to a run along the promenade? The Radisson RED Hotel

Cape Town (RED) has launched BARKrunning; turning an otherwise ordinary run along the

legged friend into an occasion. This July, and running every morning between 07h30 and

runners using the hotel as their starting point a free ginger shot before heading off on their route.

Pooches receive a complimentary bowl of H2O and a homemade treat.

As a helpful guideline: From RED to the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Granger Bay and back will clock in a 5km run, and from RED to the Mandela Glasses in Sea Point and back will clock in a 10km run. Upon their return to RED, runners can tuck into a well-deserved, post-run breakfast for R120 per person which includes bottomless tea or coffee.

- Vegan breakfast options are available on request.

- Breakfast served daily until 11h00.

- Patrons of the furry kind will be served complimentary H2O and yummy homemade treats.

All runners are urged to practice social distancing, and no admittance without a mask will be permitted.
