Halloween-themed Open Day at Capsicum's Boksburg campus.



Capsicum Culinary Studio – South Africa's largest culinary institute, with campuses in Boksburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Rosebank, Johannesburg – is creeping it real and hosting a Halloween-themed Open Day, at all its campuses on Saturday, 17 October from 08:30 to 14:00.


Visitors to the Boksburg campus, which is located inthe Bartlett Lake Office Park, will be able to interact with the schools' terrifyingly talented chef lecturers - all of whom are  leaders in the culinary field. Guests will also have the opportunity to chat to eerily expert advisors who will assist those interested in studying at the country's best culinary school. 


Says campus principal Jacqueline Naicker: "Visitors to the Boksburg campus will be treated and tempted as they undertake a walk through our kitchens and savour the delicacies that our chefs will be showcasing. So come watch us plate a dish or design a 3D cake, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and find out what we're all about."


From food stylists, capturing classic culinary moments, to head chefs in the most sought-after hotels and restaurants both at home and abroad, the opportunities for Capsicum graduates are endless.


Qualifications on offer include the one year Professional Chef Programme, Professional Patisserie Programme, Food and Beverage Services Programme, three year Advanced Culinary Arts Programme, Assistant Chef Programme and an online course. All of the courses are internationally recognised.


To apply on the day, all candidates need to do is take along their R1000 application fee and their South African ID.
