Application: How to apply

Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area, eyebrows, hairline and lips. Once completely dry, gently peel off mask starting from the outer edges. Wash off any residue with water. Follow with moisturizer or a Skin Republic Face Mask Sheet.

Warning: These masks are serious on exfoliation. Please conduct a patch test before using it to check skin sensitivity. Apply a thin layer avoiding sensitive areas such as around the eyes, eyebrows, hairline, and mouth.

Ingredients.

Niacinamide

It is a derivative of Vitamin B3 that suppresses melanin from reaching the surface of the skin (it is an overproduction of melanin that causes dark spots) and protects the skin from further UV damage. Niacinamide can improve skin’s elasticity, dramatically enhance its barrier function, help erase dark spots, and promote an even skin tone and texture.

Raspberry

Raspberries are packed with antioxidants helping to prevent premature aging caused by free radicals and UV rays. Raspberry also contains tiliroside, a compound found to inhibit melanin production helping to reduce dark spots and pigmentation.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid molecules have the unique ability to carry a 1,000 times their weight in water, more than any other biological substance. Hyaluronic Acid is also a “smart nutrient” as it can adjust its moisture absorption rate based on the humidity – relative to the season and the climate. This improves your skin’s moisture content whilst at the same time strengthening your skin’s barrier, helping your skin to look and feel softer, smoother, and plumper.

Pomegranate

High in antioxidant properties with additional skin care benefits ranging from UVA and UVB induced damage control, skin regeneration, hyper pigmentation control, and collagen production. Pomegranate is a rich source of conjugated fatty acids and polyphenol, that lend the fruit potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and free radical scavenging abilities – higher than that of green tea and red wine.

Strawberry

Strawberries contain alpha-hydroxy acids, ellagic acid and vitamin C making it an excellent skin exfoliant. These natural acids work at removing dead skin cells which help to improve the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation. Salicylic acid is also found in strawberries and it well known for its ability to reduce and prevent acne. Strawberries also contain vitamin B, glucose, carotene and amino acids all of which are necessary for healthy, radiant skin. The red pigment found in strawberries (anthocyanins) have been found to enhance skin cell survival and prevent DNA damage caused by the sun’s UV rays.
