Magical Festive fun for the whole family at Cresta Shopping Centre.

This festive season, Cresta brings back all your family favourites – and tons of activities to let shoppers Imagine More! From 14th – 24th December, Cresta Shopping Centre will be hosting 11 days of live entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy, whilst also giving back to the community. From memorable moments with Santa, craft zones, free gift wrapping, extended shopping hours and competitions, to meeting your favourite cartoon characters, ‘tis the season to be merry!
Ready for Christmas
December is here and the Centre is alive with a mesmerizing decorative ambience, bringing back that holiday feeling for shoppers with lots of opportunities to take great, magical pictures around the Centre! Make sure to bring the kids round to share their wishes with Santa and pose for pictures in the Santa Zone in the FNB Court and receive an instant print to take home for only R40 each.

Live entertainment
To add more jingles to the bells, shoppers this December can enjoy live, pop-up entertainment on Fridays (14 and 21 December), Saturdays (15 and 22 December) and Sundays (16 and 23 December) with a variety of live performers bringing joy to the Centre.
Things to do with the kids
There’s a lot to keep the little ones busy these holidays and spark some innovation and talent this festive season! Bring the little ones to the Kids Craft Zone in the Banking Court where they can learn to make festive decorations with recycled materials, colour in or adorn their own festive cookies at the Cookie Decorating Station with sprinkles to make any face beam. In the Food Court (upper level) kids can also learn how to draw cartoon characters at the Imagination Studios and create their own Power Puff avatar to print out and take home. Cresta also presents a Cartoon Network meet and greet with characters from the hit shows Adventure Time and The Amazing world of Gumball on Fridays, (14 and 21 December) Saturdays (15 and 22 December) and Sundays (16 and 23 December).

Giving shoppers a chance to give back to the community
The award-winning Cresta Festive Charity Tree makes an amplified comeback after the great support shown by shoppers in 2017, which resulted in over 5000 books being donated to the locally-based Tshepo Community Development Project Library. In place of a ‘traditional tree’, the Charity Trees found in the Banking Court will again allow and assist shoppers to donate this festive season. A giant tree will be decorated with nametags of children from local partner children homes and what they wish for this Christmas. Cresta shoppers will be able to select a name from the tree, purchase a small gift (toy or clothing) in the Centre for the child and drop it off for Cresta’s team of wrappers to wrap and distribute to the children most in need of spoiling this season. The bookshelf tree will also be available for more book donations.
