New Italian establishment, WISH, on Florida Road, had their Grand Opening!

Welcome to the beginning of a dream, called Wish, an upmarket Italian restaurant & bar specializing in gourmet pizza and pasta whilst boasting the finest local and international champagne and wine brands, Durban definitely has something new to taste.

Nestled in one of the city’s most popular roads, Florida Road, “Wish on Florida”, is a new establishment that will not only inspire the young entrepreneurs to see reality in their dreams but also present a new establishment to keep the city buzzing and on its toes. It is the brainchild of two young black businessmen, Wish launched with an intimate black-tie soirée of family, friends and prominent business minds the likes of entrepreneur Max Mqadi, of Max’s Lifestyle and Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Marketing Officer- Taweni Gondwe Xaba, speaking on what a new establishment means for the city of Durban, and black excellence.

What makes Wish special? It goes beyond the beautiful, modern, fresh, minimal aesthetic, with

touches of pink, green, marble and gold, it has to offer, it also goes beyond the variety of

special wine and champagne, and the amazing menu that has a New York-style pizza slice on

offer, delicious pasta and that bowl of creamy mussels that will leave you at a loss for words.

It is through Wish, that the Wish Foundation has been created, which will be an aiding facility for young Durban entrepreneurs and starting their business ventures.

Wish on Florida, officially opened for trading on the 13th of December 2019, trading from :

Monday to Wednesday - 12:00 till late

Thursday to Sunday – 12:00 to 2am
