There are three audition opportunities; on 27 November at San Kopano, 12th Avenue, Alexandra, on 28 November at the National School of the Arts, Hoofd Street, Braamfontein and on 29 November at Uncle Tom’s Hall, Orlando West, Soweto. All auditions run from 3pm to 6pm.
For further details and to book a place for your child e-mail Joburg Ballet School coordinator Jo-Anne Wyngaard via development@joburgballet.com before Friday, 22 November. You can also register online by visiting the Learn page at joburgballet.com.

Joburg Ballet believes in nurturing talent, regardless of background or location. Children accepted into one of the Satellite Schools pay a registration fee to cover the cost of their ballet clothing, plus a nominal monthly fee for their weekly classes, starting in January 2020.
For 2020, the registration fee is R200 and the monthly fee R120. Classes for all new students take place during the week, with the earliest class running from 14:45 – 15:30. Exceptional students between the ages of 8 and 12 stand a chance to audition for Joburg Ballet School’s accelerated programme.
