Roaring fireplaces to keep you warm this winter

The winter dream of enjoying a deliciously hearty meal while sipping on a full, rich glass of red wine beside a crackling fireplace becomes a reality in the award-winning restaurant at the Durbanville Hills winery. The venue’s magnificent grand fireplace completes the perfect ambiance for enjoying an uninterrupted view of Cape Town’s rolling hills.

Louisa Greeff, Head Chef at Durbanville Hills, says that a special seasonal menu has been created to ensure guests stay warm during the winter months. “Diners can expect a selection of winter favourites to choose from, including gnocchi with blue ricotta, seared salmon, and pappardelle beef sirloin. And for something sweet, you can’t go wrong with the famous honey apple crumble with fig and lavender ice cream – the perfect winter treat."

The restaurant at Durbanville Hills is open for lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays during 12h00 and 15h00, and for dinner from 17h00 onwards on Tuesday to Saturday evenings.
