Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Faux Feud might not yet be over…

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have today released a hilarious video clip in which Reynolds promotes Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee and Jackman promotes Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin. Or do they?
The two actors have been hilariously ‘feuding’ on social media since 2015 until their recent posts picturing them shaking hands where Jackman tweeted, "Official truce! I'm going to make the most amazing ad for Aviation Gin. And, look forward to seeing what @Vancityreynolds comes up with in return." Reynolds responded with "Official truce with @realhughjackman! As a gesture of goodwill, I'm gonna make a beautiful ad for his company, Laughing Man Coffee. Can't wait!"
The clip was released at 10AM Eastern Standard Time today. Watch it here.
Aviation Gin, launched in South Africa by on-trend drinks company, Truman & Orange last year, is not only owned by actor and producer Ryan Reynolds, but it is also the world's highest rated gin (97 points, Wine Enthusiast). In a clip released earlier this year, Reynolds explains why the gin tastes so delicious: “The distillers begin the process of making it at 4am with four full hours of silent mediation.” They then spritz the fruit with his tears and then get to work on removing the strong juniper flavor by “individually apologizing to each berry before beating the living hell out of them to create a smoother, more refined finish”. And finally, Sarah McLachlan serenades the crates of gin with “healing music” before they are shipped off.
Jokes aside, credited with establishing the New Western Dry style of gin, Aviation Gin is smoother and softer as a result of a subtler juniper influence that allows citrus and botanical notes to come to the fore. Created by a unique partnership between a bartender and a distiller, Aviation Gin is one of the best-selling craft gins in the United States, handmade in small batches in Portland, Oregon. It’s equally good over ice or in cocktails.
Aviation American Gin is available nationwide from all good liquor stores, bars and retails at approximately R450 per bottle.
