Silly season is here and what better time to try out a few Gin Recipes with Malfy Rosa Gin....

Summertime means weekends at the pool with friends and family. Sipping on cocktails to keep cool and you know we LOVE our Gin.

It's the perfect time to start practising all those Gin recipes for the Silly Season, have a look at some of the incredible recipes we tried out with Malfy Rosa Gin

Recipe 1 - Pink Plymouth

Ingredients

50 ml Malfy Rosa Gin

50 ml lemonade

25 ml prosecco

ice

Instructions

Fill a large glass with ice, add the gin and the lemonade then top up with the Prosecco .

Recipe 2 - Rhubarb Gin

Ingredients

1kg pink rhubarb stalks

400g caster sugar (don't use golden - it muddies the colour

800ml Malfy Rosa Gin

ice

Instructions

1. Wash the rhubarb, trim the stalks and discard the base and any leaves. Cut the stalks into 3cm lengths. Put in a large jar with the sugar. Shake everything around, put the lid on and leave overnight. The sugar will draw the juice out of the rhubarb.

2. After 24 hrs, add the gin, add ice, seal and shake everything around. Leave for about 4 weeks before drinking. You can strain the liquor off through a muslin-lined sieve and transfer to a bottle, but I often just leave the rhubarb and booze in the jar and ladle it into drinks that way. Over time the rhubarb and the gin go a much paler colour – this doesn’t look as dramatic. The upside is you that have to get through it fairly quickly!

Recipe 3 - Watermelon Gin Fizz

Ingredients

2 cups ginger ale

5 cups of Watermelon

450ml Malfy Rosa Gin

Lime Juice

Instructions

1. Freeze 1 cup watermelon for garnish. Puree the remaining 4 cups watermelon. Strain; divide the juice among 4 ice-filled glasses. Or Pour into a jug.

2. Top each with gin, 2 tablespoons lime juice and ⅓ cup ginger ale. Garnish with the frozen watermelon and lime wedges.
