At the Sun Vacation Club, the team has catered for all your self-catering holiday needs - which is why SA Life Magazine is a regular and loyal visitor to this prime holiday resort destination.
Designed for modern-living, each luxury unit features an open-plan kitchen and dining room area that leads onto a covered patio with built-in braai facilities. What could be better than to come back to your villa after an enjoyable day at the Valley of the Waves, and entertain your friends the true "South Africa way", with a braai and brandy!
They have specifically designed it in such a manner that it really does become your "home away from home". Providing all your necessities at hand, as well as being stocked with all the different appliances you need such as: a dishwasher, fully supplied kitchen with all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you would possibly need during your stay, and of course a fridge and freezer guaranteeing a few cold beverages on your return. The modern bathrooms offer both a shower and bath and have been upgraded to energy-saving options with regards to the geysers and more, adding an environmentally green element (which we are all for).
For those who have a larger family, or opt to book a getaway with a large group of friends, the Sun Vacation club offers you the choice of two or three-bedroom self-catering apartments. This really is inexpensive self-catering accommodation at it's best, in a family-friendly resort. Let's chat about the accommodation at the Sun Vacation Club...
The 3 bedroom villa easily sleeps 6 in 3 private bedrooms and can accommodate a further 2 people on the ultra comfortable lounge couches. There is full air-conditioning in all bedrooms, which is a must in the summer heat, that can be turned up to warm temperatures during those colder days.
The main bedroom has a full on-suite bathroom, whereas the second and third bedrooms have a shared full bathroom. The entire villa beams with modern, clean decor and bright lighting!
The social areas of the luxurious villa boast a perfect space to spend it with loved ones, friends and family. There is also full DSTV package available on the TV, in the lounge area perfect for those must-watch rugby matches.
Dining is a breeze, whether you choose to eat indoors at the dining room table or outside on the patio, which is especially great for those warm summer nights, where you want to make use of the built-in braai area. The kitchen is fully stocked to cater for all your crockery, cutlery and cooking needs.
The pool area has ample space and a multitude of available sun protection in the form of umbrellas, whereby you can lounge at the pool all day, catching up on that book you haven't had time to finish, or a sipping on cocktails whilst getting your tan on. That is, of course, only if you don't want to go spend your day at the Valley of the Waves. With 2 heated pools, you can cool off, nap and relax around the pool. There is a putt-putt course for kids and adults alike, should you choose to get active and have a round of mini-golf and a guaranteed afternoon full of laughs too!
Dine at the local Spur or Ocean basket venues which are situated at the Sun Vacation Club. This is of course very convenient if you have had a long day in the sun and just don't feel like cooking that evening!
"The Pantry", is the local convenience store located to the right of the Vacation Club Reception and stocks everything you can imagine.
With it's very central location, its an easy solution for anything you might not have packed in. The store stocks everything from meat & veg, fresh baked goods, condiments, toiletries, charcoal and so much more.
"Quench" is a local bottle store that is situated left of the Vacation Club Reception area. Such a treat, especially when you wake up and you suddenly find yourself in the mood for a "Mimosa". That probably is due to the holiday vibe you feel whilst vacationing at the number one holiday resort.
A quick stop at the Pantry for your OJ and then pop into Quench and get those bubbles. - PROBLEM SOLVED!
