Van der Linde celebrates Valentine’s Day.

Van der Linde Restaurant - which is fast becoming one of Jozi's favourite eateries - will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 14, with a special three-course dinner.Executive Chef Amori Burger, in charge of this popular Linden-based establishment, has devised a special three-course meal especially designed for couples and sharing and this day of love. The menu is as follows:

Welcome drink

Starters: Broccolini / oyster cream / prosciutto or Burrata / fermented pumpkin / cumin rye / orange

Mains: Meals to share: Beef fillet / pepper and Cognac sauce / charred peppers / roast carrot / hand cut chips or Whole chicken / white wine and herb cream / crispy roast potatoes / French beans or Vegetable curry / chapatti / pickled veg / sambals / poppadoms

Desserts: Roasted stone fruit / charred grapes / plum ice cream / toasted meringue / chocolate cake / rose custard or Almond Jacon sponge / poached pear / Tonka bean & thyme ice cream / salted caramel cheese cake drops
