What is one goal our local celebs have set for themselves in 2021?

With each new year, comes new hope, new opportunities, and new goals! 2020 is definitely a year we're all happy to say goodbye to, and welcome 2021 with open arms. We caught up with some of your favourite local celebs and asked them "what is one goal you have set for yourself, for 2021?"
This is what they had to say...

TV and Radio Personality, Liezel van der Westhuizen: Both personally and professionally: I want to be a changemaker, a thought leader, and a disruptor in the best way in Personal Branding, lifestyle, the digital world, and fitness. I want to help entrepreneurs grow and thrive - especially with my Giraffe Brand Academy programs, designed to equip any entrepreneur with the tools they need to reach success more efficiently. Additionally, for the things I don't know how to do, I want to be a dependable link between brilliant minds and their ideas, to those with resources to bring these great ideas and people to their logical and successful conclusion. Actress, Nicole Bessick: I'd like to learn a new language. Two, if I can squeeze it into my schedule. Professional Rugby Player, Steven Kitshoff: One big goal I have set for myself is to win the British and Irish incoming series – it’s something I have always dreamed of; it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am willing to work hard to achieve that goal. Professional Rugby Player, Christian Ambadiang: To be the best version of myself and to revisit goals I set for myself previously that had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Author, Model and Businesswoman, Sasha-Lee Taylor: I’d like to focus on becoming the best version of myself. Business-wise, I’d like to continue growing my company, ACE Models West Rand - we have lots planned for next year so I’m very excited. I would also like to work on the goal (alongside the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund) of having both my Educational Children’s books distributed in South Africa. Mrs SA Top 25 Finalist, Model and Businesswoman, Chandre Goosen-Joubert: To hopefully be the next Mrs South Africa 2021, and to be able to make a difference in South Africa and assist the women and children in our country. It is important they are given a platform to not only speak out but to feel protected and supported. Professional Rugby Player, Justin Geduld: My rugby is and always will be my main goal, which I am committed to 110%. I want to be the best at my game, and remain injury-free.

Let's hope 2021 is a fresh new start for us all!
