What’s in a name?

To live the moment means being conscious, aware and present with all of your senses. It means enjoyment, living life fully and doing what makes you happy. The Move Live The Moment Eau de Parfum embodies this way of thinking, and is a fragrance for the NOW.

The perfumer

The fragrance was created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion, who was also the nose behind the original Mercedes Benz The Move fragrance.

“I created this fragrance as a wish to imagine a fougère pushed over its limits. The timeless fougère structure made of bergamot, sage, geranium and moss is shaken up with a flash of ginger on top. As the fragrance evolves, the sensuality of patchouli and above all the warmth of benzoin bring a new dimension to it all, round and opulent.” - Dominique Ropion

Ropion has created a refreshing, addictive, gourmand take on the original The Move fragrance, with the objection of “Pushing fougère to the max.” It was with this concept in mind that he set about structuring Live the Moment, layering moss, bergamot, sage, and geranium shot through with a flash of ginger, topped by sensual patchouli and wrapped in benzoin to lend warmth, opulence, and a voluptuous finish to the scent. Live The Moment is a double play on revitalizing freshness set over powerful, oriental woody base notes.

The Move Live The Moment Eau de Parfum is an Oriental fougère fragrance.

Violet leaf, clary sage, geranium

Patchouli, benzoin, moss

Bottle design

The new scent is housed in a sophisticated and simply-designed bottle featuring the luminous star we’ve come to associate with the brand. The dark blue colour of the bottle and packaging reflects the intensity of the new fragrance.
