The Plettenberg celebrates Easter with classic High Tea & bubbles


With an unrivalled location, The Plettenberg is the ideal destination to celebrate the Easter holidays. This year, the 5-star hotel is pulling out all the stops with a special Easter High Tea complete with ‘bottomless bubbles’ that is available daily, between 13 and 20 April.

Starting with a celebratory, complimentary glass of L’Ormarins MCC, guests are invited to choose from a selection of finely crafted teas and fragrant coffees to accompany the High Tea experience.


Masterfully created by Head Chef, Kyle Macaskill and his team, both sweet and savoury palates are catered for. Expect all the classics and High Tea crowd-pleasers such as Freshly-baked Scones, Mini Pavlovas, Cucumber & Cream Cheese Sandwiches, Mini Quiches and Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Puffs, as well as innovative culinary creations like a Prawn tail & Bloody Mary Shot and Malay Fishcake with Lemon Aioli, to please the taste buds.

Presented in the exquisite Summer Lounge at The Plettenberg, which received a complete transformation recently, MJ Birch, the General Manager has this to say of the new space: ‘The new look Summer Lounge is like a breath of fresh air.
