Signature dishes such as the kingclip ajillo, chicken limone, crusted feta, spaghetti assassinata and the Amare signature tiramisu which is to die for reflects Amare’s devotion to  honest healthy Mediterranean cooking with the music in the background to further enhance our customers experiences.

Paired with a boutique wine list curated by one of the most respected wine curators in the industry, each dish is designed to strike the perfect notes on your palettes.

“At Amare, art, design, food, music and people are woven together in the fabric of love.” – Ahsan Darvesh.

Similar to the premium jazz restaurants of New York and Paris, Amare brings together culinary sophistication and cultural soul along with the unmistakable warmth and beauty of Cape Town’s Atlantic coast.

We welcome our esteemed clients to experience the local talented musicians and artisans coming together to offer a true artisanal dining experience.

At the heart of these evenings is John Hassan, a highly experienced and in-demand percussionist who has performed with many of South Africa’s finest and international musicians, including Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Stimela, Soweto String Quartet, Lucky Dube, Brenda Fassie, Judith Sephuma, Jonathan Butler, and Simply Red, among others.
