Winelands Summer Beer Festival

Drifter Brewing Company presents the inaugural Winelands Summer Beer Festival hosted at The Stage at Vrymansfontein Dam on February 26th, 2022!

Following in the footsteps of the beloved Woodstock Winter Beer Festival hosted at the Castle of Good Hope, Drifter Brewing Company celebrates its new home in the winelands with a beer festival featuring some of Cape Town’s favourite local craft breweries, music, food trucks and games.

The festival will feature over 70 beers from 10 craft breweries in the Western Cape region, including a once-off unique beer produced by each brewery that will only be available at the festival.

“We’re looking forward to getting the craft beer community together again after a long stint of alcohol bans and a difficult two years navigating the pandemic,” says Drifter founder Nick Bush. “We’re ready to showcase the best craft beers the Western Cape has to offer and put the beer scene back on the map by celebrating the best way we know how!”

Aside from beer, there will be a bar with Vondeling wine & bubbles, G+T cocktails and alcohol-free options. Early Bird tickets are R195pp on Quicket and include entrance to the festival, funky music by local DJs, games, swimming and a day out with friends.

It is encouraged to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for R295pp.
